2012 brought some happy times- our first family beach trip with all 5 kiddos, a first summer on swim team, Ethan's first experience with football....but along with the firsts and the fun, we experienced, either first hand or through close friends, more death than I've experienced my whole life....my Grandmother, my aunt, my aunts mom, my aunts brother, several friend's grandmothers, a few friend's parents, and a few beloved animals, not to mention the tragedies that surrounded our country/world. I said many times throughout the year that I couldn't wait for 2012 to end. And although the year will always hold a place in my heart as one filled with bittersweet memories of losing a loved one, but knowing they were rejoicing with their Savior, it was also filled with many happy times, new life, miracles and memories to last a lifetime.
I pray that 2013 will bring many more happy times than sad and that God will reign down his mercy and blessings to this fallen world.
I failed to send out Christmas cards this year, but have attached a couple pix of my sweet kiddos. They absolutely amaze me each and every day, and I am so thankful for them!
